successful independent record labels
If somebody would want to be a well-known rapper, what all should they do?
I am trying to help my friend who is a rapper. He is really good, and he is working on his mixtape right now. He is unsigned though. And so far the only way we have managed to think of that could help him get known more is by putting the songs from the mixtape on MySpace and on SoundClick, and a few other websites that help you put up your music. Another way we thought of is by pushing it around our city. But thats the only way, and he needs to get known in more places than just our city… So if somebody would want to have a successful mixtape, one that could get somebody known, possibly signed to an independent record label, what else could we do to promote him? Thanks
