how to live successfully
Moving over sea’s.?
Hello!
Well, I’ve always wanted to live in London.
I’ve lived in the United States my whole life, only going to Germany and living for six months. I was wondering if any of you out there could help me out or guide me in the direction to go to be able to live successfully over sea’s.
I’m mainly only looking to live in or around the London area.
I’m 16. Graduating in a few years, so any information on how your school grades over here would be over there.
Also, any languages I should learn.

I wouldn’t like to put you off, but living in London is very expensive because of property prices. There are many other cities more “student friendly” within shouting distance of London, if you have a particular fancy for the capital. Generally the further NOrth you go, the cheaper the accommodation and the friendlier the natives!
You need only English to survive in London, although you would find French useful if you decide to cross the Channel. If you venture further into Europe, then German, Italian and Spanish would see you through smoothly.
London would be a good place to live if you want to be near the centre of the economy. If you want to go to Uni, then you need to think about the city appropriate to where the uni is based. Perhaps the best thing about London, you would get to see the Olympics if you wished!
